These’re not a way to prove they’re your drawings, anymore, because
Procreate (and other programs for sure) have a "magic layer” function that will be hidden in the recorded time-lapse.
GPT programs can generate time-lapses. While the traditional one still looks very fake, the digital one is quite good/believable (at least or especially for the non-artists) so far.
All you’re doing is feeding the GPTs with data to evolve and get better at theft.
If you want to use time-lapses as proof to show that you’ve drawn it,
record your screen with a program that doesn’t have a “magic layer” function
where your layers, zooms, entire drawing screen and mouse/brush can be seen.
live stream (don’t need to show your face).
film your computer/screen from outside with a camera where your hands (and/or pen/mouse) can be seen.
avoid statics (even when filming from outside, try to position your camera differently or do some occasional zooms to show it’s a “real” camera irl).
You don’t need a fancy set-up.
For my live recordings, I use:
my phone (from 2016).
a DIY tripod: a selfie stick in an unused thermos flask (I have around 5 of those, only use 3 in an entire year).
a microphone that is either the earbuds that came with my phone, or a cheap beginner microphone I bought for 10€ at a secondhand shop (it’s about the size of my thumb).
+ a DIY’ed pop filter with an old (washed) sock and a toilet paper roll.
Technically you don’t need a microphone though – I only have it cause I combine these recordings with ASMR.
